Charity Fund Raising
Along with a number of other local businesses, I have signed up to take part in the 30:30 Big Wigs Challenge in support of the Sue Ryder Care Hospice in Leckhampton, Cheltenham. The hospice is marking its 30th anniversary this year, and the 30:30 challenge aims to raise £30,000 between now and the end of July.
I'll be using this page to record my own fund raising activities, to tell you about what other challenge participants are up to, to keep a running total of how much I'm raising and, of course, to get you to empty your pockets on a regular basis in a good cause.
Fund Raiser No: 1 - coaching
Have you ever wondered what coaching is all about, but felt that you couldn't afford it or didn't want to spend money on something that might not be for you? Well why not give it a go in aid of charity? All you have to do is book a half-hour coaching session with me - instead of charging you a fee, all I ask is that you make a donation to the 30:30 fund of however much you want to give. To book your session, call me on 07742 057 504 or email me and ask to book a 30:30 coaching session. I can coach you in person, over the phone or via skype - the choice is yours.

Fund Raiser No: 2 - walking
I'm taking part in the Sue Ryder Midnight Walk on May 8th. This is an 8km walk that starts at Cheltenham Racecourse at midnight on May 8th, and I'd like YOU to sponsor me. All you have to do is follow this link

Fund Raiser No: 3 - eating
I have a weakness for cupcakes (well, any cake really) and I know that many of you do too, so I shall be hosting a High Tea where everything is free, but you get to make a donation for every item that you eat and drink. You choose how much you want to give for your sandwiches, scones, flapjacks, cupcakes and cups of tea, and however much it is, Sue Ryder gets the lot! Date and Venue TBA so watch this space...

I've written a book, and it's jolly good - my Mum said so, so it must be true! It's called "True Colours: how to show the world your True Colours in 10 easy steps" and it contains 10 coaching exercises that you can do to get back in touch with your true self. Normally, you'd have to pay £6.99 or join my Coaching Gym to get a copy, but I'm offering you the opportunity to get a copy in return for a donation to the 30:30 fund. The size of your donation is entirely up to you but I would ask you to donate at least the cover price of the book.
If you'd like to donate in this way, please send a stamped, addressed A4 sized envelope along with a cheque for your donation (made out to Sue Ryder Care) to the following address:

Fund Raiser No: 5 - Networking
As a member of 4Networking I shall be taking my Fund-raising Hat (it's a pink stetson with silver trim and a Diamante tiara on it - very tasteful!) around as many 4N meetings as I can manage between now and when the 30:30 challenge ends. The challenge is being adopted by 4N Gloucestershire as it's charity of the month for April, so contributions to the heckling box will also be coming this way.
